Large format

Large formats,
clean lines.

Large-format tiles create a sense of continuity and emphasise the volume of a room. In porcelain stoneware, 120 × 60 cm or 100 × 100 cm formats are a natural fit for contemporary interiors.

  • Assessment of the substrate and laying constraints.
  • Tile layout planned to balance the cuts.
  • Grout colour matched to the tiles.

Your questions

Before you get started.

What should I include to get a quote?

Tell us the type of work (floor, walls, bathroom, terrace), the approximate area, the town where the job is and, if you have already chosen it, the tile you would like. A few photos of the room and the current surface are very helpful. We then get back to you to clarify your needs and, if necessary, arrange a visit before preparing your free quote.

Can the existing tiles stay in place?

Sometimes, yes: new tiles can be laid over old ones if they are firmly bonded, flat and in good condition, using a suitable adhesive. The extra thickness at doors, thresholds and fixtures also has to be taken into account. Once we have checked the surface, we will tell you whether tiling over is suitable or whether removing the old tiles is the better option.

Which tile size is right for my room?

It depends on the size of the room, how it is used and the look you want. Large formats make a space feel bigger and reduce the number of joints, but they need a perfectly flat substrate. Smaller tiles and mosaics are better suited to showers, slopes and uneven surfaces: we advise you on a case-by-case basis.

Do you also tile terraces?

Yes, we lay outdoor tiles on terraces and around the house. We help you choose slip-resistant, frost-resistant tiles, and we take care of the drainage slope and movement joints so that your terrace lasts.

How long does the work take?

It depends on the area, the substrate preparation required and the availability of the chosen materials. Drying time for a screed or levelling compound is added before tiling where needed. Once the quote is accepted, we agree together on the start date and the expected duration of the work.
